WIPL ISSF (or 3-Gun) Pistol Practice Session

This is a practice session for WIPL (and/or 3-Gun Pistol shooters). Only shooting relays for these two match types are conducted in these sessions - no other shooting allowed. Note that the next WIPL match is Feb 18 (at Langley) and the next 3-Gun Pistol Match is TBD - check calendar and website.  Come out and get your guns ready to participate.

Note: We will be shooting WIPL match protocols so a WIPL postal match will be allowed at this session - please advise organizer you are opting into shooting this make-up match in advance please. 

Please register for the session so we know you are attending. If we have insufficient registration, the event may be cancelled.

Background: 

Western International Pistol League (WIPL) ISSF Pistol Match - First match of the 2017/2018 season was at Port Coquitlam Range in Sept 2017!  First match at Langley is in Nov 2017. Events start at 9 am. Matches continue through April next year (see match schedule file below).

NOTE: WIPL match shooting is very similar to the LRGC 3-Gun Pistol match shooting in terms of relays and timing except that it is one-handed bullseye shooting - i.e. no two-handed option as in 3-Gun Pistol shooting.
NOTE: Junior shooters are welcome when fully supervised by an adjacent adult. 

The LRGC pistol team also schedules special match practice sessions on Tuesday nights usually in the 1 or 2 week(s) prior to all scheduled WIPL (Once per month between Sept and April) or 3-Gun Pistol matches (4 times per year). See attached files below for rules and match schedule. These WIPL match relays are nearly the same format as our 3-Gun Pistol matches so you may want to attend to practice for either WIPL or 3-Gun Pistol.
NOTE: No other shooting is permitted in these practice sessions.

WIPL Events: Single-handed Bullseye pistol shooting in 22 LR and centrefire pistols. Events include slow, timed and rapid fire targets. You must shoot 5 of 8 matches for scores to qualify.
