IDPA Mini-Match Training Session

"Competition Defensive Pistol Shooting" (rules by the International Defensive Pistol Association - IDPA, which can be found at this link: IDPA Rulebook).  

In this competitive shooting sport, we shoot targets in priority order and from cover (when available) and possibly even while moving. Ammo available to hit the required targets will be limited (this isn't Hollywood) and you will have to carry and reload as you go.  Note that this is a speed/timed event where you will try to shoot all the targets as fast as possible with time penalties for lack of shooting accuracy and/or missed targets. 

This Mini-Match training event will utilize the IDPA training you have received in previous training sessions to shoot multiple stages.  Only shooters who have attended an IDPA Intro session are eligible to attend. 

Registration is by invitation only as only eligible members are allowed. 
REGISTER on-line in advance and SHOW-UP if you do!  (Log-in, then go to date on website calendar and click on event to register).  You must enter code sent to all eligible IDPA shooters. 

Requirements: Must be 18 years and have RPAL for pistol or juniors must be accompanied by a licensed adult. 

1) A centre-fire (CF) pistol is typically required for IDPA events, however we will allow 22 cal rimfire pistols for our sessions if you do not have a CF pistol.   
(Note: Any type of sights are ok.) 

2) A holster is required.  

3) You must have a minimum of (3) magazines - preferably with a double magazine holder on a belt (or bring clothing with big pockets!) 

4) All personal safety gear (eye + ear protection - note that electronic ones are HIGHLY recommended)

5) Sufficient ammo that WORKS in your gun!! Bring a minimum of 200 rounds for the match - don't forget your mag loader! 

6) Fees are $15 for members - payable at time of registration. 

Please register for this event - space will be limited - and then please show-up to be ready to go on time! If you cancel less than 24 hours prior, there will be no refund.  Please notify us if you are registered and will not attend ASAP so we can bring someone forward from the waitlist.  Multiple no-shows will result in you being barred from future registrations.
