Special "New Shooter Orientation" Session: Centre-fire and 22 cal handgun/rifle shooting.  You must reserve a spot online in order to attend (no drop-ins)!

THIS SESSION IS OPEN TO LRGC MEMBERS AND GUESTS OF MEMBERS that want to shoot on the Indoor Range and require the mandatory orientation. This is a range orientation session, not a pistol/rifle shooting instruction session or a free regular shooting session. The owner of any shared firearm is also required to be present at the orientation. 

Online Registration is to be completed by LRGC Members:

Please fill in one registration and ALL the required information for EACH ACTUAL person for which the orientation is intended (individual, family member or guest). 
This information will be used subsequently for their file or card. If registering for a guest (or family member requiring an additional LRGC member is to be present) the sponsoring LRGC Member's info is also required. 

PLEASE FILL THE SESSIONS IN ANY DAY IN ORDER: Earlier first please.  This will allow you or guests to shoot after within the same shooting session after paying all applicable fees. (We reserve the right to move you to an earlier time if available). 

YOU MUST BRING YOUR FIREARM TO THIS SESSION WITH ALL REQUIRED PAPERWORK. DO NOT SIGN-UP IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY HAVE THIS PAPERWORK OR A FIREARM. IF YOU PLAN TO SHOOT A HANDGUN IN THE RANGE – YOU MUST BRING THAT HANDGUN.

IF YOU ARE SHARING A FIREARM OR ARE A GUEST, THE OWNER AND/OR SPONSORING MEMBER MUST ALSO ATTEND THE SESSION.
(This owner/sponsor need not individually register if they have already completed the orientation process.) 

YOU MUST BRING YOUR EAR AND EYE PROTECTION. 

MASKS ARE MANDATORY FOR THIS SESSION AND WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. 

YOU MUST DOWNLOAD, READ AND BRING WITH YOU THE DOCUMENTS IN THE FILES BELOW. 

This session is to provide new indoor shooters with a range orientation and review of the rules, plus a firearm handling and shooting competency test, so as to allow them to subsequently shoot on the indoor range.  

Applicable Fees: 

LRGC Members - "Free" (+ $7 if they stay to shoot in the regular session)
Non-Member Guests - $10 (one-time fee for NSO & card) + $15 (day pass/insurance fee) - payable at the LRGC office.   

Note: All members and guests wishing to subsequently shoot in the same session must also pay the normal $7 session shoot fee - payable at the LRGC office.  Targets are also available there for purchase. 

Requirements: 

Please download the shooters agreement form: Indoor Range Rules/Shooters Agreement.pdf then print, read and initial all lines to show that you have understood all rules.  Bring this with you FILLED OUT! 

The registration numbers for each session are limited. A waitlist is provided but will only be accessed in the case of cancellations. 

Note: In the case of "no shows" a $7.00 fee will be charged to the sponsoring member's account, so please cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you or your guest cannot attend so waitlisted members can have time to be notified. This can be done online or by emailing planning@lrgc.com. DO NOT CALL THE LRGC OFFICE TO CANCEL!

The session will last about 60 minutes (depending on preparation).  If you are a family of more than two sharing a firearm - please email planning@lrgc.com and request accommodation/more time for the extra shooters. 

Please knock on the range door inside the kitchen to request entry to the  range.  

Please bring: 

1) Ear/eye protection, plus a mask 
2) Firearm in locked case, with trigger or pad-lock, magazine as needed
3) ALL proper CFC paperwork (PAL/RPAL and ATT, firearm registration),
4) Allowable ammo (min. one box of 50), 
5) LRGC Shooter's Agreement (see above)
6) LRGC Membership card with valid sticker

Note: The LRGC will provide a suitable target for each shooter. 

The session will start with a review of your documentation and then move to the range. As this will possibly occur as a group - PLEASE BE ON TIME or you may not be able to complete the orientation and will need to reschedule.
