Covid-19 Precautions – Revised Tue. APRIL 21, 2020 Langley Rod & Gun Club Closure to ALL Activities Starting Wed. March 25 12:01 AM
All club facilities and ranges will be closed indefinitely until further notice. Please do not attend the property during this temporary closure.
Dear fellow LRGC members,
We regret to advise you that the LRGC Board has decided to close all the club facilities and ranges as a precaution to the spread of the Covid-19 virus. It is both our responsibility and desire to protect our members, staff, range officers and do our part to protect the public at large. To our loyal membership: we feel it is unfortunate that this action is now required.
This closure will affect all buildings, the office and all indoor and outdoor ranges (Archery included) and their associated activities. Members and guests - please do not attend the property until this closure has been lifted.
For planning purposes, the Board has defined a minimum closure period through to May 3 at this point in time, thus all events currently on the club calendar will be postponed or cancelled up to and including May 3, 2020.
Our hope is that the curve of the infection spread will flatten and the current restrictions will be eased or lifted sometime soon. A Board review of the situation will be performed weekly and a further notice posted approximately one week prior to May 3 such that the membership can be informed of any revisions to this club closure beyond that date. Please be sure to read your emails, check the club calendar and/or website home page for updates!
Keep in mind that while this virus may not pose a serious risk to many people, the more it spreads, the more likely it will affect someone you care deeply about.
Sincerely,
Your LRGC Board
