INDOOR RANGE: Rules and Procedures  

Procedures: Last Revised March 14 2026 - please read.  

New Member Shooters to the indoor range:  

You may not attend UNTIL you have completed/passed your MANDATORY New Shooter Orientation Session. Please go to the website calendar and find an upcoming Saturday with a "New Shooter" Orientation Session (usually at 10 or 11 am) and fully READ the event description, then follow the instructions. 

Note: Go to the LRGC website calendar and click on the date to see available New Shooter Orientation (NSO) sessions. Follow all procedures in the description. 

Members bringing guests needing a NS Orientation:

Members can come with their guest to the Saturday session only. Payment is to be made online or at the office (for guest). The LRGC member may also pay for themselves only by shoot card in the range.  

All member shooters must have completed an NSO (and submitted a Shooter's Agreement) previously. LRGC Junior members can are welcome under the supervision of an Adult Member but must have completed a NSO. Junior fee applicable. 

Non-member guests having completed their NSO will be permitted to attend on Saturdays only (or by special arrangement - email planning@lrgc.com). Please download and follow the procedures for LRGC member sponsoring of guests: 

All shooters that have recently completed their orientation and are now first time shooters in the range must identify themselves to the Range Officer on duty. 

Scheduled indoor range sessions have changed back to extended sessions (e.g. 2 or 3 hours) and reservations are not required. Members may arrive/attend at any point in time within the session and leave as desired up to the session end time.  Spots are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Note: 22 cal or air rifle shooting is permitted from the benches. Air pistol is also allowed - and target stands can be used for 10 m shooting.  Don't forget your ear and eye protection!  Please pre-purchase targets at the LRGC office or bring your own. 

Please see LRGC calendar for available sessions.  It is your responsibility to check the calendar to ensure a session is available before attending. 

Member Payment Methods:  
(Note: No cash will be accepted by the range officers, but can be used IF the office is open)

1) Payment online through PayPal:

Use the online payment system and bring "paid invoice" to session by paper or digital copy.  This is for the convenience of employing credit payments for those not wanting to use member shoot cards. 

2) Payment by LRGC member shoot card at a session:

You do not need to reserve online.  Have the RO punch your shoot card in the range.  

(Note: Pre-purchase member shoot cards only at the LRGC office when it is open.) 

Non-member Guest Payment Methods: 

Payments accepted at the LRGC office only
(Note: Members cannot use member-only benefit shoot cards to pay for non-members).
